Order Fees & Commissions

Commissions are charged per order and cover sourcing, processing, and logistics coordination. Prices are displayed in EUR by default. Depending on your account currency, wallet balances and order costs may be displayed in EUR, USD, GBP, BRL, or MXN.

Matelot & Capitaine:

Example Cost Calculation

For a product priced at €12 on 1688 (Matelot/Capitaine plan):

Product cost: €12.00
Commission (15%): €1.80
Processing fee: €1.20
Shipping (~300g to France): ~€6.00
Total: ~€21.00

Free Trial

New accounts start with a 14-day free trial on the Capitaine plan. After the trial, you can choose to upgrade or switch to the free Matelot plan.

When Should I Upgrade to Amiral?

The Amiral plan becomes more cost-effective from around 100 orders/month thanks to reduced commissions. For 200 orders/month on medium-ticket products, you'd save approximately €110/month compared to Capitaine.

Go to Settings → Subscription to view your current plan and upgrade or downgrade at any time.
